Diamond Dog is a French Post-Punk band formed in Dijon in 2020. The reference to the famous David Bowie song is by no means a coincidence, because this quartet has the same feeling for artistic self-reflection, a dystopian view on society and a poetic approach to the counterculture.
Their sound is based on the danceable rhythms, melodic synths and intense vocals of the late 70s and early 80s, but they also consider the cinematographic adventures of David Lynch and the romantic piano compositions of Franz Liszt as their influences.
In 2023, they released their debut album 'Usual Chronicles' on the labels No EMB Blanc and Wave Records.
